A Galway student could be walking the red carpet at the Academy Awards next month after the animatedfilm he ‘stars’ in was nominated for an Oscar. Fourteen year old Evan McGuire from Liscannanaun, Claregalway, stars in the animated movie The Secret of Kells as the voice of Brendan, alongside Irish greats Mick Lally and Brendan Gleeson.
