Claregalway Junior ladies travelled to Leitrim Gaels Pitch in Leitrim Village on Saturday last to play  Leitrim Champions Borrnacoola in the Connaught Semi-final. Claregalway got the perfect start with 2 goals in as many minutes and led at halftime by 3-8 to 1-0. The Claregalway Girls went on to win by 4-17 to Borrnacoola’s  2-1.

On Saturday last 24th September, Claregalway Junior Ladies took part in the Tesco All Ireland  Sevens At Naomh Mearnog G.A.A. club.  Having  played 4 games in their group, they came out on top and played a quarter final against Mungrets St.Paul’s  which they won well. U14 Tigers bowed out of the Championship on Sunday when they played away to League winners St Furseys in the Semi Final. Furseys dominated for most of the first half creating many scoring opportunities but excellent work from Rebecca Downes and the Claregalway full back line of Gwen Horkan, Ellen Connolly & Deirdre Keane denied them on many occassions.
