The death has occurred of Tom Flaherty, Gortatleava, Claregalway and formerly of Peake, Claregalway and Corribpark, Claregalway, Galway

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Delia-May brothers Billy, Micheál and Sean, sisters Una, Mary and Ann. Peacefully but unexpectedly at U .H. Galway surrounded by his Family, he will be deeply missed by his loving wife Rose, daughters Josephine Miller, Anne and Angela, son John, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Michelle, grandchildren Nicole, Adam, Eillish, Karen, Rebekah, and John, great-grandson Daniel, sisters Breege Davitt and Nonie Flaherty, brothers Padraig, Malachy and Gerry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Tom’s gentle soul rest in peace

Removal from his home on Saturday morning at 10.15am to the Assumption and St James’ Church, Claregalway for Mass at 11am for family only, burial afterwards in Renville Cemetery Oranmore. Mass can be viewed on the web-cam at www.churchtv.ie/claregalway and on the parish radio. If you wish you can offer your Condolence to the family on the on line Condolence book below. Family flowers only by request donations, if desired, to Croí or Cancer Care West.

All funeral arrangements will take place in accordance with Government guidelines on funerals and gatherings to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
