Ailbhe is currently teaching piano lessons in the centre of Claregalway Village. Ailbhe is a full-time professional musician and singer from Claregalway and a much sought-after piano teacher.
Lessons are offered on an upright Petrof piano – full size with weighted keys, sustaining pedal, softening pedal and silent piano pedal.
About Ailbhe
Ailbhe Hession is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Galway. Ailbhe, who has had her voice trained under the tutorship of Noreen Whelan – O’Toole, began playing the piano when she was 5 years old, studied violin for 10 years as well as studying the saxophone and the Irish Harp for a number of years.
Having worked as a church organist in her teens, Ailbhe took this experience to carve out an excellent reputation as a Wedding Ceremony Singer and Organist/Pianist and is in high demand today.
Ailbhe has also worked as a keyboardist and pianist in orchestras for various musical productions around Connaught. In 2014 Ailbhe moved from orchestra pit to the stage after taking on the role of Eva Peron in Galway Musical Society’s production of EVITA.

The Fancy Nest opened its doors in November 2014 and has gone from strength to strength in just 3 years. Expanding into the interior design side of the business has been challenging but very rewarding with the recent & continuing expansion of the 4* Menlo Park Hotel.

Welcome to Partel – passive building supplies and much more. We are located in Galway and have a background in Engineering, Architecture and house building. We have launched a range of natural and ecological insulation, ventilation, and airtightness systems to the Irish market, aimed specifically at the low energy building sector. The company was founded by Hugh Whiriskey in 2011.
Partel is the exclusive Irish and UK agent for the Ampack range of air tightness, wind-tightness, and building protection products. Ampack was founded in 1946 and is one of Europe’s most established specialist membrane and tape manufacturers. “Our Ampack products offer a complete building protection system, from radon membranes to airtight membranes, tapes, adhesives, and wind-tight membranes, and Ampack’s unique 10-year guarantee ensures customers confidence in our range,” said Hugh Whiriskey.
Partel also supplies the Lunos range of humidity activated decentralised ventilation systems. This range includes the award winning Lunos e2, one of the smallest heat recovery ventilation units in the world. The Lunos e2 system is not only duct free but can be used in both new and retrofit construction.
The Forge belonged to Blacksmith Michael Smyth’s. It dates back to the early 1800’s. At least 5 generations of his family have worked at the forge. Michael worked in the forge till 1997. In 2007, it was restored by the Claregalway Historical and Cultural Society. The Museum next door was opened in 2014. The Museum is a step back in time, with carpentry tools, farm equipment, pictures, documents and artifacts from the people of the parish.
