To protect against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) it is very important that we all limit our movements and avoid unnecessary social gatherings. Stay at home as much as possible.

Food and medicine requirements should be fulfilled as near to home as possible, or by delivery. Local businesses are working hard to provide these essential services and their current statuses are listed below.

Please do not visit these businesses if you:

  • have been to an affected area in the last 14 days
  • had contact with somebody with COVID-19
  • have any of these symptoms – fever, cough, shortness of breath

If you have any of the above symptoms please contact your GP or the HSE Helpline on 1850 24 1850. Emergency numbers 112 or 999 should only be used for severe symptoms.

Given the changing situation we will endeavour to keep this page updated. However following the current government advice and protecting yourself and those around you takes precedence over any information listed below.

Calling all GAA Clubs

The GAA, Centra and SuperValu have come together to introduce a new initiative to support the elderly in our communities who have no one else to lean on to do their grocery shopping at this time.

For this initiative to work the GAA are calling on all GAA clubs across Ireland to partner with their local Centra or SuperValu and to recruit a team of volunteers to make a real difference to those who need the support the most.

In this time of need, every GAA club has a part to play.
