The annual Claregalway Cemetery Mass will take place on the evening of the June Bank Holiday (June 3rd) at 7.30pm. Persons are asked to come and clean and tidy their graves before the cemetery Mass and if they know of graves that have no one to care for them to also help in cleaning these also.

Persons are asked to bring the rubbish taken from graves home as there is no facility to place it anywhere and not to be using adjacent lands and have respect for others’ property.  Persons are asked to inform people who may no longer live in the parish and let them know about the cemetery Mass.

The cemetery Mass is always a special occasion for families and in the event of heavy rain on the evening the ceremony will take place in the parish church in Claregalway.
