Galway Choral Association is inviting new members to join the choir as they start preparations for a special summer concert.
On Friday, June 11, the 50 strong choir will be joined by the Casper Civic Chorale from Wyoming USA for a unique choral experience in St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church.

An exciting programme has been planned and the choir is looking to grow the ranks with additional sopranos, tenors and basses.

“Galway Choral Association is a community based choir with members of all ages and differing levels of experience.  We are a friendly welcoming bunch and we would love to hear from anyone who has an interest in choral singing,” says Michael O’Hare, Chairman of  Galway Choral Association.

The choir also plans to recommence its annual trips to Europe in 2011 and has already started the initial preparations for its next European visit.

Galway Choral Association rehearses every Sunday night at 7.30pm in St.Patrick’s Band Hall, beside Ceannt Railway Station.
