Irish start-up announces 20 new jobs for County Galway with new factory opening

It was great to see so many top quality entrants and finalists. All finalists have proven themselves worthy in these hard times. As one of Ireland’s fastest growing companies we are dedicated to continuous R&D and innovation and are delighted to announce the launch of a new range of products for the Irish and UK markets which will include a three litre ready-to-use spray bottle and refill, a natural path and patio cleaner and a deep root killer for tree stumps, ivy and brambles—all of which are 100% natural and bio-degradable. These will be produced in our new facility in the Claregalway Corporate Park in the new year with the creation of up to ten jobs. My ambition for the company is to become a major player in the home/garden chemical business. We are already poised to become one of the top selling weed killers in 2011. Advanced talks with large American and Canadian distributors for next year will see us enter the North American market. We are also delighted to announce the setting up of UK Organic Weed Killer which will cater for Northern Ireland and mainland Britain and also Nordik Organic Weed Killer which will cater for Norway, Sweden and Finland.

I would like to thank all the sponsors and organisers of the JCI Awards. This award is Galway’s most prestigious entrepreneurial award and I look forward to contributing to next year’s ceremony.
