Sean Gallagher supports Developing Enterprises

Developing Enterprises Skillnet in association with WIN – West of Ireland Networking will host a workshop open to the public on ‘Strategies for Irish Companies Entering the US market’ which will also have Sean Gallagher in attendance on July 15th from 10am to 1pm in the Clayton Hotel, Galway.

Award winning Galway business woman Mary Rodgers, CEO of Stateside Solutions will begin the event with a workshop for all size companies interested in making the transition into the US market place in a cost effective and efficient manner. Mary will explain the different options for market entry including direct sales; setting up an entity; distributor; partnering etc. She will also explain the advantages and disadvantages of each of the routes to market and discuss the various considerations including budgets, margins etc. According to Mary, ‘having worked in the USA for over 15 years we understand the landscape as well as the challenges and our program was developed to eliminate the guesswork’.

Speaking about the workshop, Sean Gallagher said ‘I am delighted to attend the Developing Enterprises Skillnet and WIN – West of Ireland Networking event as the work they do is so valuable to small enterprises and entrepreneurs. I met many of them on my recent visit with Developing Enterprises Skillnet. Sean will spend an hour and a half on Friday morning listening to challenges that the people of Galway are experiencing, especially those issues faced by entrepreneurs, people starting new businesses; growing a business or simply just trying to stay in business. He is inviting people to come and share their challenges and also ideas.
