Heritage Week 2012 begins on 19th–26th August 2012. Heritage celebrations at the Lackagh Museum will take place from Thursday 23rd through to Sunday 26th.
The following are some of the activities that are planned for the weekend:
Thursday 23rd Sean Nós Workshop in the New Centre from 6pm–8pm.
Friday 24th Art Exhibition in the Knockdoe Room from 8pm–10pm. Heritage Talks will run concurrently in Museum from 8pm–10pm.
Saturday 25th Family History Talks from 2–5pm in the IT Centre. Traditional Seisiún and Hospitality at 8pm (after Evening Mass) in the Museum.
Sunday 26th Traditional Music, Song And Dance, Vintage Cars, Raffle, Butter Making and Sale of Goods, etc.
