Becoming a completer embodies everything Kumon can help your child achieve. This is not just because he/she has reached an advanced level of calculus, or is able to give a critical analysis of advanced texts, but even more invaluable, because he/she has become a self-learner; motivated and equipped with the skills and abilities to tackle challenges in life, school, and beyond.

Students from the Galway City West Study Centre were recognised at an awards ceremony on August 30th at the Menlo Park Hotel. Presenting the awards, the Mayor of Galway City, Cllr Noel Larkin, commended their success and development, studying on the Kumon maths and English programmes.

The Kumon English programme aims to develop each student’s ability to read and understand a variety of texts, and to nurture a lifelong habit of reading for education and enjoyment. The Kumon maths programme leads students from basic numbers to the mastery of arithmetic, algebra, and calculus, all without the use of a calculator.

The Galway City West Study Centre is located at Westside Resource Centre, Seamus Quirke Road, with classes running on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3–5.30pm.
