AMY’S House Creche is a purpose built childcare facility, providing a safe welcoming environment for young babies, wobblers, toddlers, Montessori and after school children. Since its foundation Amy’s House has grown and is now providing extra services including a dedicated after school service called Amy’s Den and a new innovative social club, Amy’s Bump Club where expectant mothers can meet and chat about all things bump.

The creche provides a breakfast club in the mornings from 7.30am, with a school  run at 9.10 am.  The ECCE which is provided is a very welcome scheme for both children and parents, and it is available for 38 weeks of the year.

The food provided is purchased fresh every week using local produce where possible, It is then prepared with care in house everyday by Ann.

Amy’s Fun Club is a welcome addition.  It is our first time to hold a Summer camp for children attending national school.  Activities will include baking, arts and crafts and sports.  Amy’s Fun Club will be held from 10am-2pm daily Monday-Fridday, during school holidays.  In order to facilitate working parents we can also provide care before and after these times at a suitable rate.

“We have a beautiful baby room which is in the capable hands of Aisling with years of experience, the daily needs of your little one will be met, with ratios in this room being 3:1.  Aisling can comfortably  give full attention to your baby.  With ratios being small for this room, it is advised to seek a space at an early stage,” said proprietor Hazel Curran.

“We have seen lots of positive changes in childcare like the introduction of the ECCE scheme and CETS, the introduction of highly skilled staff into the industry is very welcome and here at Amy’s House we seek to deliver maximum satisfaction to children and parents.

“Amy’s House is a team effort and with a strong team of 10 staff the needs of the children are met daily by Hazel’s child-friendly staff, under the guidance of manager Olivia.

“We at Amy’s House understand the pressure parents are under when dropping their little ones to creche, and as a little thank you, we have a complimentary tea and coffee takeaway service available in the mornings to help you get through the traffic,” concluded Hazel.
