Early Pregnancy Holistic Day!❤️
We’re delighted to offer this very special day for Pregnant Ladies from 13weeks to 23weeks. This day has been totally inspired by you for you after listening to your stories, chats, your anxieties and concerns. We’ve brought together a special group of women for one day in one venue to help ease and settle you into this pregnancy whether its first, second or more! Our intention as a group is for you to leave feeling inspired, connected, realisation of your potential, relieved and relaxed! That you may carry this knowledge, the connections you make with us and each other along this journey aspiring to have the best pregnancy, labour and birth experience.

Our Plan…

09.45am Welcome & Registration. Book Pop up Mini session of Reflexology/Shiatsu/Acupuncture.

10 – 11.30 Pregnancy Yoga gaining confidence moving and stretching the Pregnant Body, easing stiffness and anxieties. Inviting a sense of community and support within the circle. Finishing with a Yoga Nidra Deep Relaxation.

11.30 – 11.45 SNACK ATTACK!☕ provided by Helen Finn Nutritionist.

11.45 – 12.20 Debbie Fallows Physiotherapist in Women’s Health. Debbie will focus on the pelvic floor and its importance in maintain healthy bladder and bowel function as well as sexual health Pre and Postnatal.

12.25 – 1.00pm Carmel Mc Fadden Homebirth Midwife and Birth Educator will be sharing info on Everything Homebirth in Galway, how women can be a vehicle for change, with Q & A’s.

1.00 – 2.00pm SELF SERVE HUNGRY MOMMA’S TO BE Lunch!with Helen Finn. Sharing practical nutritional info about Low GL foods, tips to support hormone balancing, sustained energy, blood sugar regulation and dietary plans!

2.00 – 2.30pm Baibre Brooks Gentle Birth Instructor – Doula. Sharing info on a Doula’s Role and 10 tips to achieving a positive birth.

2.30 – 4.30pm Self Care Pop Up 20 minute Mini Sessions of Acupuncture, Shiatsu and Refexology ran on a suggested donation €5.

Also we have special agreed rates in Galway’s Travelodge Ireland right opposite our event to make a special weekend out of it!! Ask for details when booking your places.

Patricia is qualified to an advanced level in Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. Debbie Fallows Physiotherapist
Debbie has worked as a Physio for over 20years the last 17 in UHG heading the Womens Health Physiotherapy team. More recently she has joined the Pelvic team at Strive Clinic Briarhill. Her interest lies in Pregnancy, Childbirth and the Menopause, in particular those which relate to the pelvic floor.

Carmel Mc Fadden RGN RM BSc MSc
Carmel is a qualified Midwife and is very passionate about midwifery and homebirth. She has over 20 years experience and since 2010 she has practised as a self employed Community Midwife. She is also a Lactation Consultant and recently qualified as a Hypnobirthing Instructor.

Emma Cahalan Acupuncturist
Emma is a fully qualified Traditional Chinese Acupuncture practitioner registered with the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association which means the highest standards of care and professionalism are assured. Having used acupuncture throughout both her own pregnancies Emma is passionate about spreading the word that acupuncture is a safe, drug free treatment which can be used to treat many common problems encountered in pregnancy. Emma trained in obstetric acupuncture under the world renowned midwife and acupuncturist Debra Betts.

Bairbre is a DONA trained Birth and Postpartum Doula, Gentle Birth Instructor and Pregnancy Massage Therapist. She is a Mother of 4 and has a broad experience of the birthing system both here and in the UK. She passionately believes that all women should have the opportunity to give birth in a positive birthing environment where they feel listened to and respected.

Penny Jones Yoga Teacher
Penny trained originally in the Sivananda Yoga tradition in 2004 and then specialised in Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga with the legend Uma Dinsmore-Tuli. The last 7 years with much pleasure she has commited her teaching to Pregnant Moms and Mother and baby. She also trained as a Hypnobirthing Instructor. Penny feels very passionate about supporting and empowering Pregnant and Postnatal ladies their health, wellbeing and their sense of community.
