Top Hat Stage School which is now in its 23rd year has launched their second CD in aid of Voices for Down Syndrome,Galway.

All proceeds of the CD will go towards the Voices for Down Syndrome, which is the Galway Branch of Speech and Therapy Programme.  This programme is totally funded by voluntary contributions and is a very worthwhile project that is used by several families in the area and many more besides.

The CD was launched at a special function by Top Hat Stage School at Turloughmore Social Centre where Director Imelda French Fahy said that the students were to be hugely complimented for their efforts in bringing the CD to fruition.  The CD includes several popular tracks that were recorded at Sounds Technical Studio, Claregalway.

Many of Top Hat Stage School students over the years have gone on to give top class performances on stage as adults as the students grow in confidence that stands to them in later life.

Over the 23 years Top Hat Stage School has developed into one of the longest established and most recognised Stage Schools in rural Ireland. Top Hat Stage School runs from September to May each season and under the direction of Imelda French Fahy students continue to flourish with many other excellent teachers also on board.

Copies of the Top Hat Stage School CD are available from Flynn’s of Lackagh SuperValu and from committee members or contact Top Hat Stage School at 086 8243820.
