Tridium of Masses: Thank you – to all who were part of our Tridium of Mass and 24 hour Adoration. Sincere thanks to Bridgid and Mary for
coordinating the hours.
Parish Pastoral Council meeting: An extra Council meeting is arranged for Monday 28th at 8:00pm.

Examinations Mass Tuesday 5th June: at 7:30pm for all those doing exams. Students present will receive an individual Blessing.
Next Sunday is the feast of Corpus Christi: After the 11:30am Mass there will be the annual procession. Benediction will be at the altar in
Carraig Mór. All the children who made their First Holy Communion this year are invited to walk with their parents in the procession and be
dressed in their First Holy Communion clothes.
Volunteering at Knock Shrine: Knock Shrine would welcome volunteers to assist pilgrims during the 2018 pilgrimage season.
A meeting to arrange same will take place in St Mary’s Hostel, Knock NEXT Wednesday 23rd at 8pm.

Knock Parish Church and Shrine open for Pilgrims After a long spell of closure, parishioners and pilgrims at Knock were delighted to finally
be welcomed back to their beloved Parish Church which reopened to the public last week. The refurbishment includes restoration and cleaning
of the beautiful historic features, including the 19th Century Stations of the Cross, the Sanctuary which dates back to 1880 and mosaic artworks
which surround the side altars.

Anam Cara Galway, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Parent evening on Wednesday 6th June from 19:30 to 21:00
in the Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit. It is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death,
or whether their death was recent or not.

Congratulations Comhaltas 2018: We congratulate the under 18’s Lackagh Comhaltas group on taking home 1st in both the group and band
competitions in Tuam last weekend. Well done to all who took part and represented Lackagh in completion.

Lackagh Museum and Community Development Association will launch their latest publication ‘Turloughmore Dispensary’ at 8:15 pm
NEXT Saturday 2nd. The event will be held in Carnoneen Parish Centre and the launch of the book will be performed by Jarlath McDonagh.
The book, which has a limited print run, will retail at €8 per copy in local shops and businesses. The proceeds this book will be used to partially
thatch the Cottage/Museum which is badly in need of repairs. All interested are invited to attend the launch of the book and the Lackagh
Museum Committee look forward to seeing you there.

Cash for clobber scheme: The Museum Committee are most grateful to all parishioners who contribute regularly to the Clobber Scheme. It is
steady fundraiser that helps pay the interest on the Parish Centre debt. We ask you to continue supporting to this worthy cause. Every little
helps! Items for clobber can be dropped into the shed at the back of the museum during the day between 10am and 4pm. No duvets or pillows.
The Claregalway Hub is a concept that supports the community and is run by Josette Farrell and Clare Horgan. It provides a pleasant friendly
space for activities such as classes, talks etc. as well as services to include copying, printing and laminating. In Hub you can get
information and support on things to do in Claregalway and the surrounding areas. It is a place where you can meet up with people and make

New Cemetery Please note – old wreaths etc and old wooden surrounds from newly constructed graves etc. must be removed from the
Cemetery. In the past few weeks a number of bags of rubbish have been gathered up around the new cemetery. There is NO facility for
collecting this rubbish. If you leave this rubbish there who is to remove it? Please take it away when you clean up your loved one’s grave and
honour the deceased by keeping the graveyard clean and tidy.
