Congratulations to the Galway U-16 Ladies and Management on their All-Ireland win over Meath last Wednesday. Claregalway were well represented with 8 players and a Selector on this Team which was captained by our own Chaleene Trill. The Galway U-16 Team are sponsored by Hughes Supervalu Claregalway. Well done to the Clubs U-16 Girls who won the Division 1 league on Saturday defeating Corofin by 4-14 to 4-4. Also well done to the Junior Ladies who have topped their group in Championship after their win in Milltown on Friday night.
A few weeks ago the U12 Claregalway Boys Team defeated Moycullen in the Final of the County League Div 2A on a scoreline of 2-13 to 2-6. Our U12 team in the Div 3B competition defeated Craughwell 2-9 to 1-9. Well done to both teams.
Claregalway GAA Gaelic Football Summer Camp starts on Monday the 12th of August. A week of fun for all the kids. Ideal for boys and girls ages 6-13. Questions of Sports is a Boys and Girls Juvenile Club fundraising initiative which involves predicting a number of sporting events between July and November this year. Entry forms will be available around the club over the next few days.
