Claregalway’s Junior Ladies are Galway Junior A Champions after they overcame a gallant Grainne Mhaols Team in the Final on a score-line of 6-12 to 2-7 on Saturday in Annaghdown. Hannah Coen accepted the Cup from County Chairperson Betty Heron and Allanah Griffin was awarded Player of the Match. Next Saturday the Juniors play St. Michael’s of Sligo in the Connacht Championship.

The Senior ladies defeated Corofin in the County semi-final on Sunday in Monivea on a final score of 5-13 to 1-8. Claregalway will play Kilkerrin/Clonberne in the County Final in Milltown next Sunday at 3pm.

The U15 Connacht development was held in Bekan on Saturday, Claregalway girls Maeve McGarry, Chloe Flaherty, Katie Gorham and Eabha O’Riordan played for Galway Maroon team.

Hard luck to the Senior men’s team who were edged out by Salthill/Knocknacarra in the quarter final on a scoreline of 0-43 to 1-9.

Claregalway G4M&O are holding a Table Quiz in the Arches Hotel this Friday at 9pm.
