The Club is winding down following a busy year of events, both on and off the field. All Competitions are over except for the Junior Sacre Coeur Final which has yet to go ahead against Turloughmore.

Renovations have been carried out to the old dressing rooms in conjunction with the FÁS Scheme.

A granite stone plaque has been erected at the Community Centre, Carnmore, in honour of the many deceased members of the Club. Blessing of this plaque will take place immediately before commencement of the AGM.

New flood lighting is being erected at the pitch, in preparation for next year’s early training.

The AGM is provisionally booked for Sunday 9th January 2000.

We would like to wish all our members, supporters and many sponsors a very Happy Christmas & Prosperous New Year.

Carnmore Juvenile Hurling Club News

The U14 Panel have just finished off their season with the Parish League. It was a long year having played their first game in January. The Team got to the County semi-final before losing out narrowly to the eventual winners. Much credit is due to the players for the manner in which they represented the parish. They did themselves, their families and the Club proud and without doubt they will bring silverware to the Carnmore Club in the near future. Many thanks to the parents, sponsors, and supporters throughout the year.

Earlier this year a Table quiz was held to help purchase Tracksuits for the entire panel.

For anyone who wants them, there are a limited number of tracksuits available in Great Outdoors. Please contact Ian McDonald at 086 811 9265 for copies of the photograph.

We would like this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and century. Looking forward to seeing everyone next season.
