Ladies Football: Minor Ladies won the County A Final for the third year in-a-row when they defeated a very young KilkerrinClonberne Team in Corofin on Saturday last. Played in ideal conditions the Claregalway Girls dominated from the start and playing some splendid football ran out winners on a score of 5-15 to 0-3. U16 Ladies Lions play Kilkerrin/Clonberne in the Div 1 County Final this weekend. Time and venue to be confirmed. U16 tigers finish the 1st round of the league when they play Na Piarsiagh at home this Friday 29th. Time to be confirmed.

U-14 Leagues start this weekend with the Claregalway Lions playing Corofin in Claregalway on Monday 2nd may at 6:30 and the Tigers play St Furseys, in Headford on Tuesday 3rd May at 7pm. Training takes place on Wednesday in Knockdoemore at 6:30. Best wishes to Ellie, Megan, Karen, Roisin, Captain Ciara, Trainer Daragh and the Galway U-14 Team when they play Leitrim in the Connaught Final on Friday night in Ballinlough Co Roscommon at 7pm.

U12’s began their League last weekend. The Lions played Corofin Ambers at home and had a strong win and the U12 Tigers lost out to Annaghdown in their 1st League encounter. Training continues each Saturday at 4.15 to 5.30 and Mondays at 6.30pm in Knockdoe.
