Claregalway Junior Ladies made the long journey to Greencastle, Co Tyrone to play Ulster champions Sperrin Óg in the All-Ireland Semi final.   The morning travel and previous weekend trip to London seemed to be taking a toll early on the Claregalway girls as the home side raced into a 3 goal lead after just 10 minutes of play. A few positional changes and Claregalway got to grips with their opponents and stopped the Sperrin Og’s goal rush. At the interval Claregalway were 3-2 to 0-2 behind but would have the breeze to come for the 2nd half.  Despite the home side opening the 2nd half scoring the Claregalway girls were getting well on top and began to convert their chances and  had the deficit back to 4 points after Siobhan Gavin goaled following some great teamwork out the field. For the final quarter Claregalway dominated but could only manage 2 further points as the home Team defended their lead with great spirit.

Final score was Sperrin Óg 3-3 Claregalway 1-7. The Team still have a Div 2 League Final to look forward to against the intermediate champions Caltra Cuans.
