U16 Div 3 Team had a busy week. On Saturday 7th in Knockdoemore after putting a great performance lost to Clonbur on a score of 3–6 to 3–3. Then on the Monday they played an understrength Dunmore Team and came away with a first win of the league on a score of 6–8 to 4–1. Next up was St Michaels in the Swamp on the Wednesday and again Claregalway came away with a win 4–7 to 2–5. The Team played their fourth game in eight days when they took on Killannin in Knockdoemore last Saturday and after a close game came away with a 4–6 to 3–1 win. The last league game is on this Saturday evening in Caherlistrane.


The U14 Teams start their leagues this weekend with games against Monivea/Abbey and Corofin. The Corofin game has been fixed for Monday 21st April at 7pm in Corofin and the Gold panel play Monivea on Saturday at 5.30pm in Knockdoe. New players always welcome to join contact Jimmy 0872835847. Good luck to our five girls playing with Galway against Mayo in the Connaught U14 Championship on Saturday.


U12 Gold played their second game of the league on Saturday in Knockdoe when they played a very strong Naomh Mhuire Team. The Claregalway girls put in a great performance but it was the visiting team who dominated for most of the game. U12 Greens played away to Kilkerrin/Clonberne on Thursday 12th. Claregalway were the stronger team on this occasion finishing the game on a scoreline of 5–3 to 2–3. On Monday evening, the Green Team played Annaghdown in Claregalway and again recorded a strong win against a very young Annagdown Team. The Green Team are due to play Salthill in the next round with one game outstanding against Tuam Cortoon. Time and date to be confirmed. The U12 Greens play Corofin Ambers this weekend with a time and date to be confirmed.


Senior ladies play KilkerrinClonberne in Round 2 of the league this weekend. In the opening round the Seniors played St Brendans at home on Bank Holiday Monday. After the Teams being level the break Claregalway 0–7 St Brendans 2–1 it was St Brendans who finished the stronger to win on a score of 3–6 to 1–9. The Junior Ladies received a walk-over from Corofin in the Div 4 league last Wednesday in Belclare and play Ballinasloe in Round 2 this weekend.


Well doe to Siofra Leonard, Orla Dixon, Siobhan Gavin, Michelle Dunleavey and the Galway minors on their win over Roscommon last Saturday. Best wishes to dual player Michelle and the Galway Minor Camoige Team who play Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Final on Saturday.
