Claregalway U14 Ladies played Corofin in the U14 Division 1 league final in Monivea last Wednesday. The opening half was low scoring with both defences on top and the Teams were level at the break Claregalway 1–2 Corofin 0–5. Laura Field getting all the Claregalway scores. Corofin dominated the early second half exchanges and held a 4 point lead entering the final minutes. The never say die attitude shown by the Claregalway Girls at the recent Féile Finals became evident again with Aisling Murphy and Stephanie O’Connell netting to give Claregalway a 4–4 to 2–7 win. This was a great Team performance from reliable Rebecca in goals to corner forward Laura and all subs introduced.
