Carnmore bucket collection fundraiser a huge success

We would like to sincerely thank all our club volunteers who participated in our bucket collection fundraiser. Over €4,000 was raised in what was a huge effort by everybody. We would also like to thank anyone who donated on their way through Claregalway.

This money will go to the ongoing development of our main pitch stand, the continued development and upkeep of facilities and juvenile player development. We would hugely appreciate your continued support with our ongoing ticket raffle for All Ireland Hurling Final tickets. The draw takes place in the Arches, Claregalway on August 29th.

U6 Hurling News Bulletin

We had an excellent start to the season with 32 boys registered, all boys arrive with enthusiasm and plenty of energy to training every Wednesday, as do the coaches. I wonder is it the promise of a bourbon or custard cream biscuit at the end of session each week!

To date we have played Craughwell away, and both Liam Mellows and Turloughmore at home, with great excitement and some sleepless nights as the boys so excited.

All games were electric, the atmosphere and determination both the boys, coaches and parents create at these games are fantastic. All boys excelled in our skillset—holding the hurley in the right way, two hands on the hurl, striking from both sides and dribbling.
