The death has occurred of Phelim Murphy

Phelim Murphy, Waterview, Turloughmore, Co. Galway, June 10th 2022. Peacefully, in the loving care of his family at his home. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Annie, his sisters Dolly (Murphy), Mamie (Conneely) and Margo (Loughnane), grandson Roy Murphy, great-grandchildren Ross Junior Furey, Reilly Furey, Robin Murphy and daughter in law Mary Murphy. Deeply regretted by his devoted wife Nellie, sons PJ, Tony, Jody, Phelim, Martin and Brendan, daughters Marina (Duggan), Dolly (Connnolly), Patricia (Langan), Cassie (Furey), Helen (Coppinger), Majella (O’Shaughnessy), Sally (Malone), Ruth (Hogan) and Christine (Spellman), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters in law, sons in law, sister Kitty (Cresham), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends in the GAA circle. Rest in Peace Reposing at Our Lady’s Chapel, Lackagh (H65 N129) on this (Monday, June 13th) evening from 4.00 o’c. until 8.00 o’c. Funeral Mass in the Church of Our Lady of Knock, Lackagh (H65 N129) on Tuesday, (June 14th) at 12.00 noon with burial in Lackagh Old Cemetery.
