The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) Higgins

| (Formerly Clonbur, Co. Galway) Mick passed away peacefully at Bushfield Care Centre with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his daughter Louise and brother Padraig. Beloved husband of Ann and much loved father of Caroline, Paul and the late Louise. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife, daughter and son, sisters Mary and Bridget, son-in-law Ronan, daughter-in-law Rebecca, grandchildren Lauren, Jake, Luke, Saoirse, Niamh, Conor and Aisling, the extended Higgins and Doherty family, neighbours and many friends. Reposing at Sioraiocht within the grounds of the Church of the Assumption and St. James, Claregalway, on Wednesday, 5 July, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mick on Thursday, 6 July, at 11 a.m. Private cremation to follow.
