“Drinking good wine with good food in good company is one of life’s more civilized pleasures”, so says acclaimed wine critic Michael Broadbent.

If this sounds like fun to you, then you better get yourself down to The Arches Hotel in Claregalway where the finest food, wine, and music join forces to tantalize the senses at their Food & Wine Tasting evening on Friday the 30th of January at 8pm. The event is being hosted to launch their new menu for 2015.

Padraic Dunleavy, owner of The Arches Hotel says “we are hosting this evening to allow our customers both new and old, to come along and sample what we have to offer for 2015. If you have an event coming up this year such as a confirmation, communion, christening, birthday party, anniversary or corporate event we would be delighted to cater for you, whatever your needs might be. We have something to suit every taste and budget, and we will be giving away a catering package for twenty people on the evening. There will also be a 10% discount for all bookings taken on the night.”

Head Chef Paul Stephenson and his team will be preparing a tasty buffet to give people an idea of the different options that are available at The Arches and Paul Hunt from Coman’s Wines will be on hand to present the various wine options.

Entry on the evening will be free of charge and donations will be accepted for Claregalway and District Day Care Centre. There’ll music and dancing later on in the evening with Tommy O’Flaherty and Francis Fahy.
