The Inaugural Self Help Africa Dinner will take place this year on Friday, 9th of November in the Meyrick Hotel, Eyre Square, Galway.

We hope that you will put this date into your diary and will consider organising a table or some tickets for a night out, with friends, family or work colleagues coming close to the Christmas Season to support Self Help Africa programmes in 10 countries in Africa.

The evening will begin with a welcoming drinks reception at 7.30pm followed by dinner. This smart casual event willfeature ‘Sean Slattery & the Connections’ playing classic hits from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s – promising to satisfy every musical taste and provide an evening of great music and dance. There will also be many raffle and spot prizes on the night as well as return flights to Abu Dhabi sponsored by Etihad Airways.

Individual tickets are priced at €70 or €120 for two and a table for 10 costs €700. Please contact Ronan Scully on (087) 6189094 or e-mail [email protected]

All funds raised on the evening will be targeted towards Self Help Africa’s development programmes in Africa especially on this occasion in Ethiopi. Self Help Africa is currently working in 10 countries, providing much needed agri education, nutrition, education, and water and sanitation facilities to the most impoverished communities and the most vulnerable individuals. We are proud of the fact that over the 28 years Self Help Africa has managed to do this while keeping our administration costs exceptionally low. This is why we are urging you to support Self Help Africa’s Inaugural GalwayDinner on Friday, 9th of November, in the Meyrick Hotel, Eyre Square, Galway.

We will also very grateful for any sponsorship or donations for the ball in the form of financial support or spot/raffle prizes.

For further information please do not hesitate to contact Ronan Scully on (087) 618 9094. Thank you very much for your continuing support to Self Help Africa and for all your support in the past.
