The acting career of Claregalway native Eugene Horan is going from strength to strength of late, with no less than two new international movies on the horizon for 2014.

Eugene begins shooting a new psychological thriller in Dunfermline, Scotland in February, after which he will turn his attention to a scene opposite an Oscar winning Hollywood legend, details of which cannot yet be released.

When pushed for more info, Eugene simply smiles and says “as soon as I get the green light to make this public, the people of Claregalway will be the first to know!” Eugene continues by saying “all I can say is, it’s an incredible honour to have my name mentioned in the same breath as such a legendary talent and I believe my years of hard work are starting to really pay off now.”

Eugene’s last movie Somebody’s There has just been signed by LA based distribution company ‘Pop Twist Entertainment’ and is set for an Irish, US and European release in 2014. The movie was written & directed by another local man, the hugely talented Stephen P. Kenny.

Meanwhile, Eugene prepares to jet off to New York City in December where he has been invited over for, what he describes as “the meeting of a lifetime!”

Eugene apologises for not being able to share all of the details of his exciting times ahead, just yet, but promises all will be revealed very soon!
