Her passing comes as a great loss to her husband William and to her adored children Kian, Sean and ava. it has been a heartbreak for the children to lose their mother so young but with the support of their dad William, grandparents Don and Mary and Willie and Breda as well as the extended family neighbours and friends, they will have good support.

Large crowds gathered to pay their respects as the funeral cortege made its way from Carrowmoneash, Oranmore via Claregalway and by her home in Kiltrogue. At Cregmore National School children of the classes of Karen and William’s children formed a guard of honour holding red and white roses.

The remains of Karen Kenny were brought from her parent’s home to the church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore for a private Funeral Mass celebrated by Dr. Diarmuid Hogan, P.P. Oranmore. Burial followed in Rinville Cemetery.
