This year Claregalway has the honour of hosting the 54th All-Ireland Confined Drama Finals. This event will be staged in the Claregalway Leisure Centre and will run from the 21st of April to the 29th of April inclusive. This is a national event, which will attract large numbers from all over the Country and will place Claregalway at the centre of media attention for the duration of the Festival.
The nine top qualifying groups from all of the regional festivals will participate in the All Ireland Final. This will guarantee high quality drama and a wide variety of plays. Our adjudicator is Tom Doherty, who comes from Derry.
The committee looks forward to the usual high level of support to give a warm welcome to the groups, some of whom will be here for the first time. We will have more information for you, nearer the event.

Calling all local artists
As part of the Drama Festival we hope to exhibit works of local artists in the Leisure Centre during the festival. If you would like to be part of this event, please contact Mary Kelly (Festival Secretary) at (091) 798224.
