On Thursday 10th March the Malt House are holding a fundraiser in aid of Ronan Scully’s North Pole Challenge with the launch of their new Spring Menu. Ronan is always a busy man but this year is more exceptional than normal. He has just finished with his role as a leader  in RTE’s Operational Transformation but the challenges do not stop there. Next up he is running a marathon at the North Pole this April, a challenge that will truly test the adopted Galway man.

However The North Pole Marathon is not just a personal challenge for Ronan, it is also an opportunity for him to raise money for 6 different charities. Over the coming weeks Ronan will holding different styles of events and hopes that people will come and support.

The Malt House will be be launching their new Spring Menu on Thursday 10th at 7.30pm and you can come along and taste selections from their new menu. The Malt House is known for keeping in time with what is in season and the new menu will again draw on the best and freshest local produce that is available. The new spring menu will feature Collerans Smoked Suckling Pig, Clarinbridge Clams with seafennel and samphire, West Coast Haddock and many many more tasty treats. Head-Chef Brendan Keane will introduce the menu and Ronan Scully will speak about his recent challenges and those ahead of him.

Includes welcome drink, wine tasting & samples of some great new dishes
