Vice Chairperson: Sinead Misteal

The Work done was reviewed and noted that it had been a very busy and successful year and it was proposed we continue along the same line for the coming year.

The Cards and Bingo is very entertaining every Monday Night in Cairdeas, the meeting room beside Church. The format is very friendly and informal, numbers reasonable but still room for more to attend. The group would like to see a few more coming along for the winter. There is a bus service available for any one who would like to attend the cards and bingo, courtesy of Bealach Rural Transport and the service is free.

The Christmas Party takes place on Sunday 11th December in the Claregalway Hotel.  At first we have Mass at 2.00pm and we then go to Hotel for a beautiful three course meal and entertainment. This event is a very enjoyable occasion and a great chance to meet your friends, reflecting on the year passed and look forward to the new one.

The Summer Tour took place to Westport in May and agreat day was had by all  we had a lovely meal in Westport House Hotel. Claregalway man Declan Heneghan is manager of hotel and he looked after us very well.
