Cards Back

Turloughmore Hurling Club card game will return on Tuesday 1st Oct at 9pm with a prize fund of €760. Admission €10. The cards take place each Tuesday night in the Turloughmore Hurling Club Centre and all are welcome.

Night for Hospice

A night of art, music and dance will be held in the new parish centre next Saturday 28th in aid of Galway Hospice. The Centre will be open from 4pm to 9.30pm with art exhibitions from locally based artists, including Nigel Keary, who recently exhibited in the Galway Museum. Also Maura Long-Burke, Red Burke, Aisling Kearney-Burke and Francis Long among others on display. Six-time world champion Clare Greaney will give a dancing exhibition with friends at 8.15pm approx. This will be followed by a set of the finest local traditional musicians until 9.30pm. All the people involved are giving of their time completely free, so please come and support this worthy cause.

Disco

The disco for people with special needs has been hugely successful in Turloughmore and the next disco for persons over the age of 16 years will take place in the social centre on this Friday 27th from 8.30–10.30pm. Further details from Linda at 087 9971558.

Continues each Thursday night at 8.30pm with €100 houses plus a Jackpot of €2,700, also Flyer Sheet Jackpot of €2,000.
