Talks and demonstrations on transforming your garden will be given by gold medal winning nurseries from both Bloom and the Hampton Court flower shows.

Exhibitors include Leamore Nurseries with a range of herbaceous plants featuring a range of Peonia.

Future Forests will bring native and unusual trees, climbers, shrubs and fruit trees, while Boyne Garden Centre will show a wide selection. Boyne has seven successive gold medals.

Caherhurley Nursery has home-grown, Irish plants raised outdoors on a windy mountain slope.

Rare Plants Ireland, Deep Route Gardening, and Harrington Exotics are other exhibitors, and garden and conservatory artefacts, tools and equipment can be seen at the stands of Sarah Largue, the Cutting Globe, Logtools and Irish Water Plants.

Admission is free, and gardeners should come early to see the best of what’s on offer.

Coffee and cakes will be available in the coffee shop.

A date for your diary is the annual Galway Garden Festival on Saturday and Sunday, July 2nd & 3rd. Enquiries to [email protected].
