Eugene is hoping to convince people he is a worthy winner of the prize that would allow him to star in a Hollywood blockbuster movie, having spent the past number of years Stateside pursuing his acting dream.

Along with his friend Barbara, the pair have been chosen from thousands of entries and are hoping that the public get behind them to decide their dream is on the one deserving of the top prize.

“We are very excited to be one of the finalists, from the thousands of entries. It’s a wonderful opportunity and we’re thrilled to be involved,” said Eugene.

It’s now up to Eugene and Barbara to secure people’s votes over the next two months online at www.BudDreamBig.ie on Facebook or by retweeting their hashtag #DreamBigEugene up until Monday, June 27th.

The overall winner will be revealed on Monday July 4th, who will then set off to the States, where they meet a host of experts and enjoy experiences that will help make their dream a reality.

The response to the campaign has been phenomenal,” said Muna Nageh, Budweiser marketing lead.

“Ireland is full of big dreamers, with ambition, creativity and the chutzpah to live their dreams. We’re already proud of our finalists, and we know they’ll put everything they have into getting the maximum votes. We can’t wait to turn one of their American dreams into a reality, while helping inspire others to continue chasing theirs.”
