Gaeltacht School Recognition Scheme
S.N. Baile Clár na Gaillimhe has been issued with a Circular from the Department of Education and Skills which asks the Board of Management to make a decision as to whether the school should become a Gaeltacht School or an English-Medium School under the new scheme. Introduced on an 8 year phased basis, the school would become an all-Irish school with no English being taught in Junior and Senior Infants.
