Claregalway GAA Féile will be having a table quiz fundraiser on Friday May 25th commencing at 8pm in Claregalway Hotel. It is kindly sponsored by Kesel Construction and MC on the night is Hector Ó’hEochagáin. There will be finger food, raffle and spot prizes.
The U-10 Girls enjoyed a great morning out in Connacht Centre of Excellence on Saturday at the Connacht Blitz. They all played really good football and had a great day. The U16 ladies over came Annaghdown in the league Semi Final on Friday night but lost out to Kilkerrin/Clonberne in the Finalon Sunday evening in Mountbellew. Claregalway led at the break 2-4 to 0-4 but a strong second half showing from the Kilkerrin\Clonberne girls saw them win on a final score of 3-9 to 2-7. The Senior ladies play Kilkerrin\Clonberne in the League Final this Friday evening in Tuam Stadium at 7:30. The Juniors are in a Shield Final with details to be confirmed. Hard luck to our Senior Mens squad in their first championship game this year against All Ireland Club champions Corofin. Final score was 1-17 to 0-10.
