The new extension will consist of six new classrooms and three special education needs rooms. Canon Ian O’Neill officially blessed the site and all those involved in the build.  Mr. Cribbin  acknowledged the tireless efforts by all those involved in bringing this project to fruition.  The new  classrooms will be ready for use early in the 2019-20 school year.  Ample space will then be available in the current school building and plans are in place to develop a number of areas to encourage the holistic education of the children in Claregalway NS, for example, creating a school library, a sensory room, a computer room etc.  In addition to this, the large space to the rear of the school will be further developed to allow for a new playground and sensory garden Claregalway NS is now enrolling for September 2019.
