Galway Rowing Club, ALS Shannon and ex Ryanair, Dublin, tragically. Beloved husband of Michelle Glynn (Nee Canavan), Ballymahon, Co Longford. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, wife Michelle, cherished daughter Róisín and son Séan, father Gerry, mother Maria (Nee Smyth), and loving Nana Bridget Smyth. Sadly missed by his sisters Fionnuala (Mannion), and Mairéad, brother Eoin, their partners Liam Mannion, Adrian Eighan and Stacey (Nee Ryan), adored nieces, nephews, Michelle’s family Kevin, Sheelagh, Niamh Canavan, Denise and David Keegan, extended members of the Glynn, Smyth and Canavan families and a large circle of supportive friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Sioraoíocht in the grounds of the Assumption and St James’ Church, Claregalway (H91YH05) this Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from his home on Wednesday morning to Claregalway Church for Funeral Mass at 12 o’clock, burial afterwards in Claregalway Cemetery. House private please, Family flowers by request Donations, if desired, to the Patient Comfort Fund, Intensive Care Unit, University Hospital Galway.
