The death has occurred of Angela Jane Duggan (née Ruane)
“Hillcrest”, Maunsells Road, Taylors Hill, Galway City, Galway / Castlebar, Mayo


(Formerly Breaffy, Castlebar, Co. Mayo). Angela passed away suddenly and peacefully at home with her husband John by her side. Angela is predeceased by her son John Patrick, brother John and parents Kathleen and Edward Ruane.   Angela is leaving behind her loving husband, three heartbroken daughters Jennifer, Louise and Victoria, sons-in-law, Michael, David and Victor and her adoring grandchildren Conor, Grace, Daniel, April, Audrey and Morgan. Deeply missed by her brother Nathan and sisters Sally and Noreen, her brothers-in-law Padraig, Jimmy, Brian and Hugh, sisters-in-law Mary and Noreen, nieces, nephews, her dearest friend Eileen, the extended family, neighbours, wide circle of friends and her two dogs and best friends Abbey and Hayley.   A private family funeral will take place in accordance with current government and HSE guidelines Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Angela on Saturday, 13th. February, at 11 a.m in St. Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road and may be viewed online. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery via Maunsell’s Road.   Angela was an angel here on earth and left a legacy of kindness, empathy, compassion, generosity and zest for life. The world is a better place for all those who were lucky to have known her and who have been in her presence. We will host a celebration of Angela’s life at a later date.   The family would like to thank you for your sympathy and support at this difficult time. Mum, Until we meet in heaven and see your beautiful face, “This too Shall Pass”. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.
