Representation:

It wasn’t to be for Galway against Roscommon in the Division 2 league final in Croke Park but we were well represented with fine performances from Conor Flaherty and Jack Glynn.

Well done to Rhona Connolly who was in the Galway Under 14 team that played Mayo in the Connacht Final on Saturday last.

Well done also to Laura Scanlon, Aoibhe O Flynn, Leah O Halloran an Eabha O Riordan who were on the minor squad and Andrea Glynn who was part of the Minor management team. They took on Leitrim on Saturday.

We are well represented at county level at every age grade – well done to all that continue to make these panels and best wishes for the year ahead!

Return to Competition:

Almost all our boys’ and girls’ groups have now returned to training and competition. It’s great to see so many familiar and new faces around the club grounds and as the evenings get longer, we hope to have many fun filled training sessions! Further information and training times is available on the clubs’ social media and website.

Well done – Run in Red for Jonah:

On Saturday, April 2nd, Cregmore National School Community hosted a major fundraising event in support of little Jonah Murphy. Jonah, an adorable six year old boy, was born in July 2015 with a very serious and rare heart condition. The son of teaching staff member Edel Glynn and her husband Jonathan Murphy, is affectionately known as “Jonah, the little Heart Warrior”, due to his determination and resilience.
