The Community Games final was played in Ballindereen on Sunday 24th June with Claregalway playing Corofin. Playing into the wind in the first Half, it was Claregalway who dominated and lead by a good margin of 5-2 to 0-0 at the break. Corofin fought back in the 2nd half but the Claregalway backs were very strong denying them many scoring opportunities. The game finished 7-6 to 1-2. Referee Tony Melia presented the Cup to Claregalway Captain Andrea Trill.

U14 Ladies travelled to Féile Peil na nÓg in Laois Offally at the weekend to represent their Club and County which they did with honour and pride. Reaching the Division 1 Final, they lost out to St Ciarans of Offaly on a final scoreline of 0-6 to 0-3. A full report of the weekend and the girls games will be in next weeks Herald. Many thanks to all the supporters who travelled to O Moore Park in Portlaoise and to all who came out to welcome the girls back on their return to Claregalway on Sunday Evening.

U14 Training continues next Saurday at 5.30pm in Knockdoe. details of County Finals for both teams should be available by then.

Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others continues each Tuesday in Knockdoe from 8 to 9pm.
