Connacht Shield Quarter Final Result:

Cregmore 2-2 Mulranny Utd (Cregmore win 4-3 on penalties).  Great win for the juniors who move on to the last 4 of the Connacht Shield.  The game finished levelin normal time, with Harry Connelly getting Cregmore’s goal so we went to extra time with Mulranny going in front 2-1 through a freak goal.  Cregmore looked dead and buried in the second half of extra time but following good work from James Connelly, Davey Tarpey levelled things up with a great strike from the edge of the box.  Harry Connelly, Davey Tarpey, James Corcoran and Darren Corbett then held their nerve in the penalty shootout to see Cregmore through to the semi finals where they are the last remaining Galway team.  They will face one of Urlaur Utd, Swinford or Partry Athletic, U15 Div 3-Bearne Na Forbacha B 2-0 Cregmore B; U13 GFA Cup-Cregmore 1-0 Renmore; U13 Div 4-Cregmore  B 5-1 Oughterard B; U11 Premier Div: Bearne Na Forbacha A 0-7 Cregmore A; U11 Div 2/3 Cup: Cregmore B 1-5 Athenry B; Div 2/3 Cup: Cregmore B 1-5 Athenry B; U14 Girls: Cregmore 3-0 Colga; U10 Girls: Corrib Rangers A O vs 4 Cregmore A.  Fixtures: Saturday 16th March 2013: U12 Premier Girls 2013: Cregmore v Salthill Devon, at Cregmore 10.00am; U12 Div 2 Girls: Cregmore C v Salthill Devon C, at Cregmore, 11.00am; U12 Div 1 Girls: Cregmore B v Oughterard at Cregmore, 12 noon; Under 16 Second Division: Cregmore v Renmore, at Cregmore 4.00pm; Under 12 Ski Soccer Premier League: Knocknacarra A v Cregmore A, at Cappagh Park, 12.30pm.
