In U14 Claregalway Green panel play St Gabriels this Wednesday at 7pm in Knockdoemore. Claregalway Ladies will host Kilkenny City in the Féile in June in a group that also contains St Brendans Galway and Dunboyne the Meath Champions.

U16 green panel completed their league campaign in Moycullen last Wednesday. After a poor opening half the Claregalway girls made a great second half comeback but came up just short losing by 3–10 to 2–12. Despite this loss the team remain in contention for a place in the League Final. There will be a second Registration day for the Claregalway Ladies Club this Saturday week 10th May in Knockdoemore between 4–6pm. All players must be registered by May to train or play for Claregalway Ladies.

Gaelic4Girls, with over eighty girls from Claregalway/Turloughmore and the surrounding areas continues every Saturday at Knockdoemore Pitch where they are treated to an hour of great fun and coaching in Ladies Gaelic Football. This Saturday 10th of May there will be an second opportunity for the Girls to Register with Claregalway GAA Club and then join the clubs existing U10 and U12 groups. The cost of Registration for any Girl taking part in this programme is €50.

Congratulations to our seven Club Girls Megan Glynn, Eimile Gavin, Siobhan Gavin, Ciara Burke, Karen Dowd, Orla Murphy and Ruth Horkan who won Connaught Minor Medals with Galway on Monday. Galway will now play Dublin in the All-Ireland semifinal in July.

Also well done to Elle Glynn (captain), Andrea Glynn and Grace Cahill who played with the County U16s on Sunday in their win over Roscommon. Best wishes to Shauna Flaherty and Andrea Trill who play with the County U14s in their Connaught final next Sunday in Ballyhaunis. Also good luck to our Girls involved with the Galway Senior Ladies who play Westmeath in the Division 2 League Final on Saturday in Parnell Park.
