Congratulations to Claregalway/Lackagh U12 Girls and U10 Boys footballers who won the Co Galway Community Games finals in Ballinderreen.
Our U10s competed last weekend in an invitational tournament hosted by Na Fianna GAA club in Dublin. A total of 27 of our players took part in an 11 a-side and a 9 a-side competition against some excellent opposition. Clubs taking part included Crossmaglen Rangers (Armagh), St Brigids (Roscommon), Wattey Grahams (Derry), Sarsfields (Kildare) and Na Fianna (Dublin). Our 9 a-side team won their competition after a hard fought final against St Brigids. The 11 a-side team played some great football and competed very well in all their games. Well done to all our players who represented the club with distinction. Many thanks to the parents who travelled on the bus and also those who were in attendance in Dublin to support our teams. We are very grateful to Na Fianna GAA Club for inviting us to an excellent tournament.
