60 years ago today, 2 Duggan families left a little village in Claregalway, Co. Galway, Montiagh, on a land commission exchange, to live in Ballyfair, Curragh, Co. Kildare. On that day, 5 adults and 18 children travelled by bus to Ballyfair. We will celebrate this anniversary at some stage later in the year. The Duggan families have extended somewhat since that day, so this gathering should be a large and enjoyable occasion.
