The Claregalway 5K Fun Run & Walk for 2017 will take place on Tuesday 4th April at 7pm. Again, the race will be a fundraiser for the Claregalway & District Day Care Centre, and sponsorship cards can be obtained there, in the ‘Never Too Old’ Charity Shop in Claregalway village, and from other businesses in the local area. Anyone who raises a minimum of €100 in sponsorship will get free entry again this year, while on-the-day entries will be taken in Coliste Bhaile Chláir between 5.30 and 6.45 pm. This year the race will be starting outside Claregalway Community Centre and finishing on the new entrance road to Coláiste Bhaile Chláir.
