The EYE Cinema will get a taste of Hollywood for one night only on March 31, as Sanctuary premieres in Galway to raise funds for a new theatre for Blue Teapot.  Fresh from winning the prestigious Michael Dwyer Discovery award at this year’s Audi Dublin International Film Festival, the cast of Sanctuary will be in attendance on the night, and will also host a Q & A session following the conclusion of the screening.

Guests will be treated to complimentary Pick n’ Mix, Cocktails, Prosecco, a Supper Bowl and Jazz in the g-Suite post screening.  This fabulously entertaining film will win your heart.  Set in Galway, it deals in a very special way with the challenges faced by people with intellectual disabilities as they struggle to forge relationships and find love.  Len Collin’s Sanctuary is a big screen adaptation of a hit play from Blue Teapot Theatre Company.  Performing Arts School & Outreach programme for people with ID at the forefront of arts and disability in Ireland.

The film debuted at the Galway Film Fleadh in 2016 where it won the Best First Irish Feature Award, and is also featuring in Film Festivals in New York, Chicago, LA, Sydney, Melbourne, Vancouver and Brazil.
