About Coláiste Bhaile Chláir
Coláiste Bhaile Chláir is a coeducational, multi-denominational school based in Claregalway, Co Galway. The school caters for students within the local community, under the patronage of Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board (GRETB).
CBC first opened its doors to students in September 2013. We are committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning, and in all instances will place the student at the centre of everything that happens in our school. We have high hopes and great expectations of all our students – we aim to teach students to be life-long learners and to be guided by our core values.
Students in CBC attend six lessons on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and five on Friday. School begins each day at 8:55 and ends at 15:45 (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs) and 14:25 on Fri.

Galvia has over fifty years’ experience in the clothing industry and is based in Galway, in the west of Ireland. Galvia offers both retail and corporate clothing services. Galvia retail is based in Claregalway village, carries a wide selection of Bridesmaid’s dresses flower girls and Debs wear from International Fashion Houses. Along with this, we carry a full range of communion wear for girls and boys and seasonally we carry school wear for all the local schools. All of these go along with our wide range of ladies fashion.
Galvia corporate wear based in our local business centre supplies a full range of corporate clothing for commercial offices along with the healthcare sector and general industrial clothing. We also supply hotels with all their uniforms across all the hotel departments. We also cover a wide selection of casual clothing for clubs and community groups requiring printing and embroidery cresting.

The Hub is a concept that supports the Baile Chláir (Claregalway) community run by Josette Farrell. It provides a pleasant friendly space for activities such as classes, talks, workshops and talks as well as services to include copying, printing and laminating. It is a place where you can get information and support on things to do in Baile Chláir (Claregalway) and the surrounding areas.
