There is a free farm safety event which will take place on Tuesday 10th of March (Registration 6.30pm, Talks 7–9pm) in the Claregalway Hotel.
The theme of the event is Farming & Driving in the West of Ireland. The event will focus on safety on farms and vehicle driving. There will be particular emphasis on agricultural vehicle safety—including on public roads. Other aspects of farm safety will also be covered, in particular farm animals as well as slurry storage and precautions to be taken to reduce risks for farmers, children and visitors.
